    Welcome!

We need your help to build our understanding of the koala population in South West Victorian towns. We are fortunate to have a koalas, our national icon, in our towns and cities. Unfortunately, koalas face daily threats of dog attack, car hits and a dwindling habitat as evidenced by the rescue of over 300 koalas a year by Mosswood Wildlife.

Mosswood wildlife, a wholly volunteer organization, is committed to improving the plight of our Koalas in South West Victoria but need to have evidence of their existence and movement in our towns and cities to allow us to influence Councils in the creation of wildlife corridors.

In order to help koalas and prevent more deaths and injuries, we need to know where they are and how they are faring. This free, easy to use interactive map enables everyone to be part of the solution.

To add a spot to the map, follow these steps:

    1. Click the big Add a Spot button.
    2. Drag the map to position the marker at your location.
    3. Complete the form that pops up and press submit.

    Thanks for your involvement!
